O gauge equipment is large and visually powerful. That creates room for working accessories, detailed structures, visible track weathering, and scenery materials with real texture.

Plan around minimum curves

Use the largest curves your space permits. Broader curves generally improve appearance and allow longer locomotives and cars to operate more comfortably. Check the manufacturer’s minimum curve recommendation for every locomotive before finalizing the plan.

Leave access everywhere

Keep track within comfortable reach. A beautiful rear corner becomes frustrating when a derailment or scenery repair cannot be reached safely.
